Mat
The Mat program prepares you to instruct the Pilates in its purer form, without the use of complementary machines, but with adaptations to them. It is one of the systems most precise and balances to improve physically from the body control and the postural correction. Also the work with small materials is introduced, like the magic circle, the elastic band and the Fit Ball and provides the tools for postural analysis design of specific programs of postural correction.

The program consists 2 blocks or levels of training, plus the practices hours. Each academic block is completed intensively in an weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Practices and tutorials are made apart.

METHODOLOGY
Theoretical parts and theoretical-practices parts will be combined. The exercises will be internalized by individual practice, the technical study and teaching partners. Real cases of different conditions and situations, next to daily practice will be studied and solve.
Mat I
Contents:
• Presentation of the Pilates Method.
• History of J.H.Pilates.
• Present evolution of the Method and current schools.
• The Basic Principles of Pilates.
• Pedagogical resources and educational abilities
• Practice of specific exercises to understand the Principles.
• Applied Anatomy and biomechanics to Pilates.
• Basic modified exercises Program.
• Intelligent progressions at superior levels.
• Teaching Methodology.
Timing:
♦ 15 academic hours.
♦ Tutorials (1.5 hours).
♦ 27 hours practical that include:
a. Visualization of classes.
b. Personal practice (10 hours).
c. Teaching practice (17 hours).

Mat II
Contents:
• Exercise program for Intermediate and advanced level.
• Collective classes teaching in a dynamic and motivators.
• Improvement in the technique and the instruction of the Mat.
• Anatomy - Muscle Control Central.
Timing:
♦ 15 academic hours.
♦ Tutorials (1.5 hours).
♦ 27 hours practical that include:
a. Visualization of classes.
b. Personal practice (10 hours).
c. Teaching practice (17 hours).
Mat III
Contents:
• Exercise program for Intermediate and advanced level.
• Improvement in the technique and the instruction of the Mat.
• Anatomy - Scapular Muscle Control.
• Dynamic analysis and postural correction.
